The Honda is all set to have another model launched in various markets. The Honda Jazz which also known as the Honda Fit in some countries is a model which is basically based on the platform of much known as Honda City. This platform is also used for some more models in hatchback, sedan and estate wagon category of the vehicle. As per the company’s current policy the models of hatchback and sedan are sold in the Indian market while in the North America and some more markets the Fit or the Jazz as well as Fit shuttle models is sold.
Recently, some automobile sector sources have got a glimpse of next-generation Honda Fit as well as the Honda Fit Shuttle. These models will be initially available in the domestic model of Japan only and after sometime it will be launched in other countries also. The previous version of Fit shuttle has performed well in the auto market in Japan and the company is also expecting to launch this wagon model in the developed market of Europe very soon also. According to the company the developed markets of Europe can play a key role in the progression of sales figure of this model.
The model has the same 1.5 liter petrol which provides the power to the Honda Fit and Honda Jazz. The Fit shuttle also will have five speed transmission with manual mode and will also have an option for CVT which means continuously variable transmission. The all new Fit Shuttle will have many more features such as Magic seats, total six airbags, infotainment system with touch screen, cruise control, and touch operation of HVAC and VSA.
There is no doubt many models available with all these options, but the model of Fit Shuttle will still be different with its look and style. It is a longer model than before and therefore has also good boot space also. At this stage the Indian market will not have this wagon launched in the market, as the company takes it as a not much successful model in evolving market countries. Therefore the model will not be available in India as well as china. In India in coming three months there will be a new model of Honda Jazz Hatchback which is very much awaited by people. Currently the company is focusing on increasing its production capacity and probably it is a primary reason that company has called off the launch of Jazz in India at this stage. This model can have direct competition to Elite i20 from Hyundai.
Hence at this stage as the Honda wants to increase the output capacity, it is very much focused on production rather than market and competition. To have a complete focus the company is postponing the launch of all the new Honda Jazz in the Indian market. Though it can be a bit disappointing to the Honda lovers, but the company has decided very much correctly as per the market sources.
