Inside the car there is 5 inches of display along with audio, rear camera settings and Bluetooth connectivity.
The steering wheel is of superior quality which is wrapped with leather and grip offered is great. Bluetooth controls, audio and cruise controls are also given. The wheelbase of the car is increased by 50mm and shoulder room by 40mm and height too by 10mm. The AC vents offer too much comfort to the passengers. The new City comes with contemporary features such as keyless entry, push start button, 8 speakers, 4 power outlets, folding mirrors and sunroof.
The Diesel City will be launched with 1.5liter i-DTEC engine and the performance expected is 100PS at 3600 RPM and 200 NM at 1750 RPM. The engine is mated with 6 speed manual gearbox that improves the output which helps the new City to achieve best possible fuel economy.
The i-DTEC technology has reduced the friction between the moving parts and enhanced their functionality. The power output of the vehicle is amazing and delivers 145kmph inside City and 190 kmph approx outside the city.
The petrol engine of the car is available in 1.5 liter i-VTEC technology and the fourth generation is even better. The twin spark plugs, improved cooling system and low friction technology help the new Honda City in acquiring fuel efficiency. The petrol model of the City is available in the improved CVT auto gearbox. With this auto gearbox in City, it can achieve 18kmpl.
The car is comparatively less heavy than its predecessor by 40 kg. The CVT auto gearbox offers convenience in driving to the drivers. Honda’s attempt to achieve fuel efficiency is appreciably better. Honda has never done compromise in case of safety; it has got ABS, EBD and SRS in all the variants.
