Honda Cars India is having a superb time in India and thus, it is also considering expanding massively in the country. The Japanese car major has just commenced the production at its second manufacturing plant in Rajasthan, and there are already reports indicating that the company is planning to set up its third manufacturing facility in the state of Gujarat.

According to a leading news journal in India, a Gujarat state government official close to the particular development says that Honda Cars India has already shown interest in a 250 acre land situated in Vithalapur, Gujarat. The Vithalapur village is around 32 kilometers from Hansalpur, where Maruti Suzuki is coming up with its highly disputed new car factory.

Moreover, after setting up its car manufacturing line following that of its two wheeler wing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India in Tapukara in Rajasthan, Honda Cars is now supposedly going to following its two-wheeler facility in Gujarat as well, as the Honda two wheeler wing has already announced of its plans to set up its manufacturing facility near Ahmedabad, which will be its 4th plant in India.

Honda Cars India commenced the operation in its newly inaugurated car plant in Tapukara, Rajasthan in the month of February, 2014. The Japanese premium car manufacturer is currently also making cars in this new plant, while it began making engine as well as powertrain components since the year 2008. The new Tapukara facility is responsible for manufacturing only the very popular Amaze compact sedan, but it is expected to soon start producing the all new 2014 Jazz, which is scheduled to hit the production in India in the month of July this year.

Honda Cars India is the one car maker in India which has been witnessing astral sales growth ever since April 2013, after the launch of its first diesel car in India, Honda Amaze. The company has been going steady on its unbelievable success rate even during the slumped market condition, thanks to the continued popularity and growing demand for Amaze and the instant massive success of the all new City sedan in India.

While Honda is currently beaming in the high success and growing demands for the new 2014 City sedan, it has yet more big plans ahead. The Japanese car major launched the fourth generation City in January, 2014 which went ahead to regain its long lost top mid-sized sedan crown within the first two months by overthrowing the Hyundai Verna Fluidic. The new City is a massive success after the Amaze due to its first time diesel counterpart part from great new looks, superb feature list and competitive pricing.

Now, in order to ensure further high flying success, Honda is all set to launch the Mobilio MPV and the all new 2014 Jazz hatchback in India within the present financial year. As the Japanese car giant continues to grow in India by leaps and bounds, it did not shy away from revealing that it wishes to soon become the top car maker in India.
