The Japanese car maker Honda has now launched the first official TV commercial for the soon to launch Mobilio MPV. The Mobilio will hit the Indian car market officially on 23rd of July this year and the vehicle’s official pre-launch bookings have also commence with a token amount of Rs. 50,000.
The new TV commercial is not the first advertisement that has been launched by Honda for the Mobilio, as the company had released two other advertisements featuring the comedy anchor Kapil Sharma. However, both the Kapil Sharma Mobilio Ads are pretty long in nature and are meant primarily for the web and are not suitable to be aired on TV. The new advertisement has been specially created to be featured on television and is much more precise and much shorter.
The new Honda Mobilio TV commercial emphasizes on the enhanced space of the MPV which can smartly accommodate the varying needs to a fairly big family, along with ample storage space. The commercial starts with a digitized outline of a vehicle’s cabin and a young man who is mentioned to have grown up and a 6 footer, thus requiring better leg room, and Honda has done that in the new vehicle. Next, comes another young man sporting spiky hair, which the ad points out to be very long, but there’s nothing wrong. The outline of the car cabin is pushed up to offer greater head space to accommodate the tall occupants of the car as well as their long spiky hairdo. The ad moves on to show a plump middle aged man, referred to as an ‘uncle’ with cute handles and the middle row of the vehicle is shown to grow more to facilitate the man’s comfortable seating. Lastly, the ad features the boot space of the vehicle, as the voice other says that it is not meant to store only ‘boots’ but anything from big suitcases and even foldable ladders by enhances the cargo area by folding down the rear seats flat, while the ad also features a little girl also comfortably seating at one of the rear seats.
Finally, the Ad gets done with the now fully enhanced cabin of the Mobilio and the attractive exterior of the Mobilio. The ad shows a bright red colored Mobilio quickly rotating it in 365 degrees to offer a front to back view of the very stylishly designed MPV. The advertisement finally concludes with the voice over mentioning that Honda has increased everything in the new Mobilio in terms of space and comfort, but when fuel consumption is concerned the company has thoughtfully reduced it considerably and its diesel version offers a massive 24.2 km per liter.
Thus, the new Honda Mobilio TVC is a smart Ad showcasing the MPV’s great space, convenience, looks and mileage. Honda will announce the price for the Mobilio at the time of the vehicle’s market launch, but it is expected to be priced at around Rs. 6 lakhs.
