The recently finished New York auto show was a host to various high profile automobile giants from all throughout the world. Cars from all over the world were shown. Ferrari and Lamborghini took most of the limelight from the general viewer's eye. But, one of the most important revelations in terms of the development of a new segment in the market an how the market shapes up in the future was Honda’s crossover concept supposed to be launched in 2013
The crossover is a distinctively designed luxury SUV. It has bold styling, with well defined lines and a muscular body. It will cater to the demand of the more active consumer who wants to do his daily travel in a vehicle which can take him off the daily routine for some time. With the crossover, Honda have done away with normal contemporary curves and come up with a daring, bold and more muscular design. From the front, the crossover has big headlamps and a broad hood with muscular linings. The high edged sides give it a very broad look, increasing its muscular appeal. It has its own different appeal to the audience is focused on being a loved by all vehicle.
The cross tour would be powered by two options, one the 2.4 litre i-VTEC inline 4 cylinder engine and secondly the V6 which will power the higher end and sportier version of the crossover. It has ample power to go anywhere and the V6 especially would not take much of an effort to beat other competitors in a sprint. The muscular effect continues under the hood as well, with Honda putting two of its most powerful motors into action here. The specifications of the V6 have not yet been revealed but, after listening to the maximum power of 192PS @ 7000 RPM, the output of the V6 is bound to lure the sports car fan towards this muscular beast.
On the inside, the cross tour is bound to be exquisite and it is, with its large and spacious cabin, finished carefully by impeccable use of leather and other materials. The muscular and sporty feel continues inside the car as well and the cabin gives a very modern and tech-savvy look. It comes loaded with Bluetooth, a central controlling LCD screen and climate control as standard. Overall, the crossover can be called a hard from outside (with the muscle) and soft from inside (the exquisite interiors) type of vehicle to satisfy all needs of it buyer
