Honda city versus Skoda Rapid exteriors comparison

Honda City and Skoda Rapid are both attractive sedans from their own manufacturers and they both have pulled the attention of many towards them with their great looks and packed features. Honda city has been here for quite some time now and Honda has made many changes to it sedan starting from its exteriors to engine and even interiors. Honda City has a very modern design in the car but we will come to the details of the exteriors a bit later. Honda City has a very comfortable interiors it has a good head and leg room space in the interiors along with a comfortable seats there is a powerful AC and a descent music system too. Honda Has Introduced a Cheaper EX MT Variant to Its Range Of Brio

Honda has just launched the automatic version of its hatchback Brio. Again, it has been seen that Honda has added yet another variant with the motive for boosting the appeal of its hatchback, Brio. This new variant has been named EX MT. The name itself suggests that it is a new manual and a mid-level version of Brio. This version has closed the price gap between the no frills E MT and the S MT.

Coming to the new version of Brio, the EX MT has features like a single DIN audio system with AM/FM, MP3, front speakers, USB with AUX-in, body-coloured outer door handles and outside rear view mirrors. These features are not present in the basic E MT version. This new version is aimed to make the ownership of the Brio affordable. The EX MT does not have the features like that of steering-mounted audio controls, integrated audio, rear power windows and keyless entry. These features costs Rs. 29,000 more than the actual price and are present in the high end variants of the Brio for example S MT.

The car in spite of the above features retains all the basic kits that are needed and also has the typical Honda rev-happy engine in it. This EX MT has been quoted with a price tag of Rs. 4, 26, 000 (ex-Showroom Delhi). It is a nice value and it is only Rs. 20, 000 more expensive than the E MT. This variant will undoubtedly increase the sales of Honda Brio along with the sale of the new automatic at the top end.

Honda Brio comes with the concept of the double triangle exterior. This car is a perfect combination of dynamic and sporty looks. The front chrome grille of the car comes with the logo of Honda. On the other hand, India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki launched its sedan which is the popular model SX4. Due to inflation, Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG version of SX4. Let us compare these sedans.

Honda Brio versus Ford Figo

With the launch of Brio, the small car, Honda has again entered into the hatchback segment with fresh attire. Honda launched Brio the previous year and is a low priced and an affordable car. In India, Brio is the second car after Jazz. Even if Brio is sold in a low price, the styling has been done in such a way that it looks very stunning. Launched in striking colour options, Brio seems enjoying a nice position even in this competitive market. Ford has launched its hatchback Figo which is not only a small car but has everything that a small car owner wishes to have. Since it is a compact car there are some limitations. Figo has been designed and engineered by Ford Australia. It has joined the competition in the market with a hope to emerge as number one. The exteriors of these two cars are being compared.

Both these cars are extremely powerful and have lots of space in the interiors including the seating capability of 5 persons. They have the best in class AC and along with the music system. Honda Jazz has been recently showcased in Brazil at the 2012 International automobile show and named it the Twist with some major modification been done in the Jazz. India still has the same old Jazz and it does the Job pretty well whereas its rival Hyundai has launched the fluidic shaped i20 newly and that is also a best selling product from the Hyundai. Honda Jazz Twist should it be brought to India?

Honda has revealed yet another product from their stable with a twist; it’s the new Jazz twist which was unveiled at the 2012 Sao Paulo International Motor Show. Many other manufacturers have also showcased their own products such as the Hyundai launched HB20X which is the Brazilian crossover version of the i20 of India. Nissan also unveiled its extreme crossover concept and Volkswagen has revealed their small SUV Taigun. The Honda Jazz twist is the one and only vehicle which has been launched in the Brazilian market especially designed for Brazil.

The exterior hasn’t changed much except the bigger 16 inch alloy wheels. The new Jazz also gets a redesigned front grille which makes the front of the car look muscular the front also has the Honda Logo placed in it. The front lower bumper gets a new stylish plastic cladding it is continued at the rear of the car also. The front bumper also houses the round shaped fog lamps. There is not much change in the engine too it has the same 1.5-litre flex-fuel engine which powers the regular Jazz. While running on ethanol, this engine generates 116 HP of maximum power on gasoline the new Honda Jazz twist can generate115 HP of maximum power output. The one good feature of the jazz is that it has both the option of manual and automatic transmission mode for the hatchback. The surprise for the people is that Honda has not changed the suspension of the new Jazz it remains the same which is fitted in the old Jazz that is available in India.

Honda will bring the Jazz twist to the Indian market and it will fill in the slot of increasing demand of compact crossovers and SUVs of the Indian market. But the launch will not happen before 2014 and recently Honda is concentrating more on bringing the Honda Brio sedan which will be powered by a diesel engine in the Indian market. The Jazz is priced around Rs. 15 lakh in the Brazilian market and with its macho appearance and the big 16 inch alloy wheels it can also be taken for a bit of off roading also. The market for the Honda Jazz has not been impressive in the Indian market but it will surely attract lots of eyes towards it after 2014 when the Jazz twist will be launched.
