The Japanese car manufacturing company Honda has launched its beautiful head turner sedan, Accord. On the other hand, Volkswagen has redefined Passat, its sedan, to give it a royal look. These two cars are being compared to get an idea about the difference in their features.
The exterior of Honda Accord has been designed for the E-class proportions. The car gets a swanky look as it has long and stretched headlights with the bold lines along with its hood. The ‘Honda’ logo has been placed in the middle. The front and rear fog lamps have got 3D styled slots. It has body coloured rear view mirrors and chrome finished doors and the alloy wheels together gives the car elegance.
The bold and sleek exterior of Passat gives it a dynamic look. The radiator grille is chrome finished which effectively merges with the graceful circular shaped headlamps. The Xenon headlamps come with cleaning system due to which the car can be tagged as luxury sedan. To give a special touch, the side skirts are wrapped in light black. The circular rear lamps have been enabled with LED technology and this feature adds to the charismatic look to Passat.
The interior of Accord gives us a feeling of openness. The beige coloured leather interior brilliantly adds more style and it has generous amount of leg, head and shoulder space. The tilt and telescopic leather steering wheel is another great feature along with the rear ac vent, rear reading lamp and rear foldable seat. The noise and vibration reduction carpet and the illuminated vanity mirror together give a smart look.
Everything inside Passat means luxury. It has beige coloured interior which makes it look classy. The serene and calm interior makes one feel at home. Powered with power windows, door locks, rear seat sunshades, leather upholstery, power driver’s seat, air condition, cruise control, a trip computer, MP3 player etc makes Passat a practical car added with beauty. The seats give 12 ways of adjustment system.
Honda Accord is believed to be available in two different types of engines 2.4L and 3.5L V6. The DOH i-VTEC engine available in 2.4L is very fuel efficient and gives a power of 180 PS at 6500 rpm. And Honda Accord 3.5L V6 produces a maximum power of 276 PS at 6200 rpm. This makes the car a powerful one.
This car is available in only new TSI engine. It has a 1.8L 17980cc petrol engine which generates a maximum power of 160PS at 4500-6200rpm and a maximum torque of 250Nm at 1500-4500rpm.
Honda Accord is available in the following colours including Urban Titanium Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Tafeta White, and Alabaster Silver.
Volkswagen Passat is available in the following colours including Oak Brown, Light Brown, Deep Black, Reflex Silver and Candy White.
