The two Japanese car manufacturers Honda Motors and Maruti Suzuki have come up with their premium hatchbacks. The former has launched its first small car named Jazz while the latter has named its hatchback as Swift. The Honda Jazz is a luxurious small car which has all the features that are found in a C-segment sedan car. On the other hand, Suzuki Swift is a car which has a great technology that has wooed the car enthusiasts for quite a long time. We have done a small comparison between the two.
Space:
Honda Jazz
Honda Jazz does have a perfect combination of space with style and comfort added to it. Its rear seats have been placed higher than the front one for better view from rear seats. The seats provides with ample of room for legs and shoulder. Also its head space is generous enough so that a 6ft tall person can also sit in without any discomfort. Jazz has also the provision of various multipurpose storage facilities. Honda Jazz is the first small car that comes with such specialties and thus this car can be considered as ultra-spacious hatchback.
Maruti Suzuki Swift
Maruti Suzuki Swift has interior which is quite sporty in terms of looks. Swift have in it head restraint and height adjustable driver’s seat. Also its single rear seat can be folded to make space whenever needed. Swift have much of headspace, leg space, shoulder space and knee space which gives much comfort thus making the car a roomy one.
Handling:
Honda Jazz
Jazz is equipped with disc brakes at its front wheels and its rear wheels have drum brakes, this helps to de-accelerate the car in a much lesser time and thus provides a lot of safety. Honda Jazz has features like ABS along with brake assist and EBD that ensures the anti-skidding of the car. The great and the most revolutionary addition of G-CON, i.e., G Force Control Technology in the car have improved handling.
Suzuki Swift
In terms of handling, Swift is provided with ABS that helps to prevent the lock up of the wheel during sudden braking. The front brakes in Swift are provided with ventilated disc brakes and the rear brakes are the drum brakes which are quite efficient in terms of sudden surprises on the roads. It also has a handling system which is improved offering much stability and comfort during the ride.

Honda Jazz is priced in between Rs. 6, 01,000 and Rs. 6, 58, 000 while Suzuki Swift is priced in between Rs. 4, 53,159 and Rs. 6, 88,928.
